• Sore throat from anesthesia?

I had a surgery done a few days ago, and was administered anesthesia through a tube. Since then, I've been experiencing a sore throat. Could the two be connected?

Yes it’s common to have a sore throat after intubation (having an an endotracheal tube placed). The tube is placed between your vocal cords. A metal tool is used to place it. Both can cause a temporary sore throat.

Yes. Although this will resolve on its own warm water gargling or hot tea with honey will help in the healing process
