What is the success rate of a liver transplant?

My child has a genetic liver disorder and the doctors have suggested a liver transplant. What is the success rate of such an operation?

It depends on many factors but is usually pretty high: about 90% in the first year and >70% at 5 years in terms of graft patient survival.
