What is the best treatment for urethral cancer?
My mother has been detected with urethral cancer. What is the course of treatment that is most successful in such a case? I am seeing a few doctors in this regard but I wanted another opinion.

Depends on the biopsy result, stage of the disease, and metastatic workup. The tumor has a tendency to spread locally and metastasize into other organs.
Urethral cancer usually is in the bladder, but could also be in the ureter or in the kidney or in the urethra. Grade and stage decides what treatment is best.
This is a rare cancer, usually bladder cancer is more common. I wish I have the details to better advise, in principle, one needs to excise the cancer.
