I underwent a surgery around my ankle where I was given local anesthesia. How long will the impact of the anesthesia last?

More common local anesthetic is cocaine and it lasts around 1 to 2 hrs, without epinephrine. If epinephrine is added, it will be more.
It depends on the specific drugs used, but anywhere between a few hours and 36 hours
It all depends based upon the local anesthetic that was used. I would advise the patient to contact the practice that performed this. The local anesthetic could have been injected from the surgeon as well.
