• How do I prevent fatigue and tiredness after a bypass surgery?

I had a bypass last month, but I'm still experiencing a lot of tiredness and fatigue. My surgeon said that this would be normal, but is there any way I can prevent it from happening?

I agree with your surgeon. Most patients after bypass surgery experience fatigue and low energy levels. These symptoms usually resolve in 1-2 months. Getting enrolled in a cardiac rehab program is beneficial.

Fairly common after surgery. Could be low blood count, not eating or sleeping well, related to meds, etc. Review labs and meds with physician. Eat, rest, and try to slowly exercise.
