Why do I see traces of red blood in my stool?
I saw traces of red blood in my stool last night and it left me extremely worried. What could this be due to? What should I do next?

It might just be benign or due to hemorrhoids. However, if you are fifty, or a first-generation relative has had a history of colonic polyps or colon cancer, no matter what age, you will need a colonoscopy.
