• Are there any natural remedies to treat a poison ivy reaction?

My daughter has a rash from being exposed to poison ivy since it's in our backyard. We try to keep her away from it, but she keeps going back there and getting the same rash. We put over-the-counter ointment on it for now, but we aren't sure about what else to really do. Are there any home remedies we can try?

You can try cucumbers and banana peels which may cool the itch, baking soda paste, apple cider vinegar and oatmeal paste are some natural remedies for poison ivy

Good luck

Hi there,

There are no home remedies but you can try a mild cortisone cream that will work well.
