• Do you specialize in treating symptoms of the flu?

Are physician assistants specialized in treating flu-like symptoms? I know I'm coming down with something, and I want to get this treated fast.

PAs can treat the flu. It's usually a prescription of tamiflu but you need to be tested first to ensure you actually have it.

I do not, I work in Neurosurgery, but there are often PAs in Urgent Care settings. PAs also often work in Primary Care.
Check with your primary care physician or visit your local Urgent Care to get checked out.

Yes, PAs are trained in many areas in medicine. I suggest you follow up with your PCP. Good luck.
