What is the treatment for an abscess in the mouth?
I have a pus-filled abscess in my mouth. How can this be treated?

Abscesses are usually treated with antibiotics. Sometimes they have to be drained followed by an antibacterial mouth rinse.
X-ray will determine if this treatable or needs extraction
Root canal treatment or extract the tooth.
