• Is turmeric really effective in controlling the blood flow?

I read in a recent article that turmeric can really help in controlling blood flow and can easily help avoid clotting. Is it really true?

Yes. It has two derivative. Curcuminoids and Curcumin. Studies has suggest that curcumin and its derivative BDMC possess antithrombotic activities and daily consumption of the curry spice turmeric might help maintain anticoagulant status. (BMB Rep. 2012 Apr;45(4):221-6.)
