• I believe I have vaginitis. What treatment can I get for it OTC?

I need over-the-counter treatment for vaginitis. I think I definitely have it because I've been experiencing some irritation for a while. What do you recommend?

Bacterial vaginitis cannot be treated using OTC medications. Please see your OBGYN or family practitioner to be evaluated and treated properly.

Depends if it is yeast or bacteria causing the problem. Try Nystatin cream or Lotrimin and if it doesn’t do the trick, see a Provider for help!

Consider boric acid vaginal suppositories - you can use them daily when not on your period and you can buy them on amazon - use for 3-5 days until no issues and then you can use as needed 1-2 times a week to prevent a recurrence.

Chinese medicine has a good result.

Over-the-counter treatment is Monistat, but sometimes it does not work. Best thing is to see your ob/gyn and let her prescribe you the prescription medications.
