• Was my lymphedema caused by radiation therapy?

I had radiation therapy to treat my breast cancer, but after noticing both my legs swell, I've also been diagnosed with lymphedema. Could my radiation therapy have caused lymphedema? Why does it happen?

Lymphedema in the legs is not caused by radiation to the breast. You should ask your doctor to CT abdomen and pelvis to make sure you do not something going on in the abdomen and pelvis
