What are the first signs of autism?
I think my son might have autism. He's 5 years old, and has difficulty understanding what other kids his age are learning. He also has a few speech issues. Could he have autism?

No he has delayed learning ability and for speech needs speech therapy
Autism is problems with social interaction and communication. There may or may not be learning problems. There is also resistance to change and often stereotypic movements such as hand flapping. He needs his hearing and vision checked and needs evaluation for developmental delays,
