My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with strep throat. What are the treatment options for strep throat?

Antibiotic cures it in a few days, untreated can spread to others and could lead to Rheumatic Fever or kidney disease.

A one-time shot of penicillin, oral antibiotics such as amoxicillin or cephalosporins that kill the bacteria. Get a new toothbrush.
