1 - Most of the time, tonsillitis is microbial, therefore, antibiotic is needed. If suspected that it's due to Streptococcus Betta Hemolitic, need TEN days antibiotic, to prevent possible unwanted issues. Your GP/pediatrician will advise. Take her to the doctor.

Depends of the type of tonsillitis. Considering that they are 2 types bacterial and viral, use antibiotics for bacterial and managing the symptoms for viral.

That depends on the infectious agent. I hope your doctor has done a throat swab and run the standard tests to see what the infectious agent is. If not, get It done immediately.

Antibiotics, see your GP for referral to ent surgeon if frequent recurrence as tonsillectomy may be needed.

If it is not strep throat, It can usually be watched and given things to help the pain such as tylenol and losengers. If it is strep it will need oral antibiotics or a shot of PCN
