What causes excessive clotting during periods?
During my period, I've been passing large menstrual clots for the first two or three days. What causes this?

Difficult to say in any particular instance, but likely related to the rate of flow, heavy or light with restriction. Check with your doctor for a pelvic exam so that he/she may visualize your cervix and palpate your uterus to get a better idea of a diagnosis.
