What is the aftercare for hemorrhoid surgery like?
I need to have surgery on my hemorrhoids very soon, mainly because they're not going away on their own. What should I do after the surgery to help my recovery?

You should ask your surgeon this question as recovery varies based on what type of surgical treatment is delivered for hemorrhoids.
Your aftercare instructions will be given to you by your surgeon. General guidelines would be lots of fluids, stop pain meds as soon as you are able as they cause constipation, fiber supplement, and stool softeners.
