Athletic taping involves applying tape to support and stabilize muscles and joints during physical activity. It's commonly used to prevent or manage sports-related injuries like sprains, strains, and joint instability. However, its effectiveness varies depending on the injury and individual needs, often best when part of a comprehensive therapy plan.

It's typically used to provide support to a joint/area. It does not prevent injury, but may help with some support. If anything, it may just be providing a false sense of security.

Used for sports-related and soft tissue injuries. Very helpful if taped correctly.
