• What is the best way to check baby's temperature?

I'm 27 and I'm about to become a mom in a couple of months. I'd like to know what is the best way to check baby's temperature? I'd like to be prepared when it happens.

Ear temperature thermometers I think are the best and easiest to use, but are expensive. Regular digital thermometers under the arm pit are good too.

Usually by axillary or otic. The forehead strips are not accurate. A very young baby may have to have a rectal temp.
