The best is the at home bleach as the one at the dentist is a one time bleach

Hi,

Not sure the best...
The most common and cost effective is take-home bleaching trays. Teeth with a gray undertone won’t bleach as well. Teeth will also reach a limit to their whitened effect. The more you bleach doesn’t mean your teeth will whiten to no end.
Hope this helps.

Kor is the best.

Laser whitening is too expensive. Forget that. Then there is Zoom; also expensive, and they don’t make you a custom fitted tray so that you cannot “touch up” after 18 months when whitening begins to revert. Some offices offer free whitening for life, but require you to get and pay high fees for checkups and cleanings and X-rays, which is far from “free.” In-office 1-hour bleaching without the light works, but it depends how much lighter you want your teeth to be. One hour only lightens so much. Zoom light assisted bleaching and home bleaching are the same.

The best and quickest bleaching is going to be an in office treatment. Some studies show in office bleaching with alight like zoom light might be slightly better than no light.

Hello,

Asking a question like this to 10 dentists will probably get you 12 opinions. That being said I can give you my two opinions. Are you insistent on getting your teeth whitened at the dentist? There are multiple ways to whiten your teeth; over-the-counter, in the dental office, and at home given to you by a dentist. If you are the type of person that wants one shot deal and do it the dental office then there are a few different products and this largely depends on what the different sales reps tell the dentist is the best (I know, sad). I use opalescence boost with my patients that want to do in-office whitening. That is because I believe that this one gives the best results. However, if you want the best results overall, at home whitening (whitening trays made by a dentist) gives the best results. Research has shown that contact time is the most important factor in whitening teeth. At home whitening usually has 15 minute contact time, but you do it everyday for 12 days. This is in contrast to at the dentist for two 20 minute sessions.
Hope this helps.

My best to you!
