What is the normal weight for a 3 month old baby?

My baby is 3 months old. What is the normal weight for a 3 month old baby?

Babies usually gain 1 1/2 to 2 pounds per month from birth, so I would guess about 6 pounds over birth weight. Am I close?

It varies by birth weight. Most babies double their birth weight by 6 months so by 3 months, usually they’re 1.5 times the birth weight.
