What is the treatment for amblyopia?
My 8 year old nephew has been diagnosed with amlyopia. What is the treatment for this?

The treatments are glasses if needed, and eye patching.
Amblyopia is best treated before age 5 years by selectively patching the good eye to encourage the use of the poorer eye. Some doctors will treat till 9 years old. Patching over 3 hours per day tl age 9 years.
