I am 4 months pregnant and I have frequent headaches. What painkillers can I take for my headaches during pregnancy?
Tylenol is mostly recommended and not to take more than 4 tabs a day provided you do not have any medical conditions such as liver disorder. Also you may want to let your OB know that this not migraines and to make sure you are not progressing into pregnancy related condition such as pre-eclampsia. Hope this was helpful.
Most important thing to prevent headaches in pregnancy is hydration. Drink at least 3 liters (1 gallon) of water/day. Yes, you can take over-the-counter Tylenol 325 mg as needed. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and decrease sugars in your diet.
Stay healthy!
Tylenol is appropriate for pregnancy at 22 weeks provided there are no other medical complications that contraindicate Tylenol.

Tylenol is the safest. Advil or any aspirin products are out. Narcotics go directly to the baby, so they should be used as a last resort.
