For temporary relief, you can take Advil up to 400 mg and use oragel if the gum is swollen over the wisdom teeth. See your dentist ASAP to consult on getting the wisdoms out.
Best advice I can give you is to see a dental professional to find out what the problem is. If it’s caused by and infection you would treat it differently. Consultation and evaluation is what you should be doing.
A good pain management medication is a combination of 800mg of Ibuprofen with 1000mg of Tylenol taken three times each day, but not for more than two weeks. This combination is more effective than taking codeine medication.
