• What will a dentist do for a broken tooth?

I'm 20 years old and I broke one of my back teeth yesterday. What can a dentist do for a broken tooth?

Depending on the extent of the break, it can have a filling, a crown, or if very bad, an extraction.

Restore it or pull it.

Either fill it, crown it, extract it, or do nothing. If it is hurting, it needs attention right away. If not, then if it doesn’t need a filling or crown; sometimes all it needs is to be smoothed off.

Depends on the situation. It could need a simple filling, a crown, a root canal and a crown or even need an extraction. The dentist needs to get an X-ray and see it clinically to determine your situation, but get it checked ASAP.

Hello,

It depends on how badly it broke. The dentist can restore your tooth with a simple filling, or it might even need a porcelain crown/cap on it.
