I am a 33 year old male and I have throat pain. Which medicine is best for throat pain?

There are over-the-counter numbness spray medicines available.
Generally speaking, I recommend Tylenol for a sore throat caused by a virus or even strep throat. Please do not take more than 4,000 mg per 24 hours, and if possible limit to 3,000 mg per 24 hours.
