You should return to the office that made them so the dentist can determine what your issue is. You may need the bite adjusted or you may need an adjustment on the tissue side for developing pressure sores.

When you say "setting" - if you mean that they do not fit over the gums, the lower denture is moving or rocking, the upper loses suction, or they cause pain due to pressure on the gums and palate: If these are new dentures, most of these issues should be adjusted and corrected at the initial delivery appointment. It is common to have a few spots that need to be adjusted following a short use of the dentures, after that, they should fit well and function without any pain. If by "setting" you mean the bite, where the upper and lower teeth do not meet properly, or when teeth on one side hit before the other side, or there is any other issue with the teeth - all that should be checked and adjusted during the delivery of the dentures, with only minor adjustments if at all following a short time later. Go back to your dentist and explain to him what you feel after having your new dentures for over a week.

Have the dentist adjust it or even reline it, but most new dentures require several adjustments and getting used to.

Certainly see your provider. Either the fit isn't right or the occlusion (the bite) is off. Dr. Neal

Dentures often need adjustments after they are delivered to you. It is best to go to whoever made them and have them adjusted so they fit better.

If your dentures are not setting right, it might be due to fit, lack of bone, or the occlusion and your bite. See your dentist to adjust, reline or make you new ones.

After getting new dentures, you usually need 3-5 adjustments with your dentist. This is normal
