• Why do some babies make a clicking sound when moving?

My baby is 8 months old. There is a 'clicking' sound when she's moving, especially with her legs. Do babies make a clicking sound when moving?

Children's ligaments are more lax as compare to adults. With this laxity, it produces clicking sound with moving their arms and legs.

I recommend you have her hips checked by your pedaitirician or pediatric orthopedics specialist if needed.

Babies have extra fluid in their joints and they can pop when moving and sometimes in their back when you pick them up. This is normal
