There are many possible causes for foot pain, even in young people. My recommendation would be to schedule an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon specialist in foot and ankle surgery to be further evaluated.

You may have been born with a high arched foot. It could be that your shoe wear is causing the problem. Try a change in shoe wear - a lower heel - to see if it helps. If not, let an Orthopedic Surgeon who has been specially trained in foot look at it.
