Why does my son have dry eyes?
My son is 6 years old and his eyes are very dry and itchy. Why could this be happening? Eye drops only help him for a short period of time.

See an ophthalmologist.
There may be an allergy component. Take him to see a Comprehensive or Pediatric Ophthalmologist.
Hen may have allergic conjunctivitis and need daily allergy eye drops or oral antihistamines.
Dry eyes are associated with excess use of eyes with reduced blinking rates. Computer, mobile phone usage, windy conditions and allergies are possible causes.
