• Will a breast x-ray spot any tumors?

Doctors scanned my breast for any abnormalities. How effective are these scans? Will they detect tumors?

A mammogram is essentially a "breast X-ray." They are very effective at finding tumors. In some circumstances, breast ultrasound and/or MRI may also be useful or even more effective.
