For Some Women, Survival Doesn't Justify Traveling for Ovarian Cancer Treatment

Traveling takes a toll on the body

Battling ovarian cancer is already stressful enough as it is. Now adding a long travel into the mix makes things even worse. Your body is already exhausted from fighting off this tumor inside your body, and now it has to endure hours of long car rides or tight leg-room on an airplane.

Besides just the inconvenience of having to travel, think of all the money that you'd have to spend on traveling to your appointments. Gasoline prices aren't cheap, and neither is air travel. If you're driving, you're also racking up mileage on your car. To add salt to the wound, traveling a lot means you're probably not able to work as much as you normally would.
