A native of Idaho Falls, Dr. Frandsen completed his undergraduate work in Biology at Utah State University on academic scholarship. He graduated from the Creighton University’s School of Dentistry through the Idaho Dental Education Program, where he received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award. After dental school, he received advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, IV sedation, and implant dentistry through the Idaho Advanced General Dentistry Residency at Idaho State University, where he worked as an adjunct faculty member from 2010 until 2018.
Actively involved at both the local and national level in his profession, Dr. Frandsen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Idaho Oral Health Alliance, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sciences, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of Idaho Falls BNI.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens.
