Get to know Dentist Dr. Justin G. Frandsen, who serves patients in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Dr. Frandsen is a qualified dentist who is a firm believer that a beautiful smile starts with healthy teeth and gum. He practices alongside Dr. David Heninger at Idaho Falls Smiles, providing state-of-the-art quality and comprehensive dental services, including implant placement and conscious sedation.

The dentist duo have the skills and experience necessary to maintain bright smiles for patients of all ages. Their gentle and caring style will help every family member feel comfortable in the dentist’s chair. From a routine cleaning and whitening to cosmetic dentistry and preventive care, both children and adults will enjoy the friendly service and advanced care.  

A native of Idaho Falls, Dr. Frandsen completed his undergraduate work in Biology at Utah State University on academic scholarship. He graduated from the Creighton University’s School of Dentistry through the Idaho Dental Education Program, where he received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award. After dental school, he received advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, IV sedation, and implant dentistry through the Idaho Advanced General Dentistry Residency at Idaho State University, where he worked as an adjunct faculty member from 2010 until 2018.

Actively involved at both the local and national level in his profession, Dr. Frandsen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Idaho Oral Health Alliance, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sciences, and the American Academy of Cosmetic  Dentistry. He is also a member of Idaho Falls BNI.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

On a more personal note, Dr. Frandsen and his wife, Meghan, both attended Skyline High School. They are happy to be involved in the Idaho Falls community. They enjoy athletics, the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and playing with their children: Isaac, Ian, Luke, Owen, and Jane.
