Terrell Cummings, a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist, to its medical team. Dr. Cummings brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in advanced nerve block procedures and opioid-sparing pharmacological management, focusing on innovative implantable neuromodulatory techniques designed to alleviate chronic pain.

A native of Tallahassee, Dr. Cummings completed his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Florida before earning his M.D. from the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He further honed his skills during his general surgery internship at Washington University in St. Louis, transitioning to anesthesiology for his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Most recently, Dr. Cummings completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he gained advanced training in techniques that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Cummings’ clinical interests are centered around the use of fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided methods to accurately target pain, along with a comprehensive approach to pharmacologic management of various pain syndromes. His affiliations with professional organizations, including the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Anesthesiology, reflect his commitment to staying at the forefront of pain management practices.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cummings is a proactive member of the National Medical Association, advocating for increased minority retention in medical schools in Texas. His dedication to community service is evident in his active participation in local organizations and volunteer efforts, demonstrating his commitment to giving back.
