A native of Tallahassee, Dr. Cummings completed his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Florida before earning his M.D. from the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He further honed his skills during his general surgery internship at Washington University in St. Louis, transitioning to anesthesiology for his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Most recently, Dr. Cummings completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he gained advanced training in techniques that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
Dr. Cummings’ clinical interests are centered around the use of fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided methods to accurately target pain, along with a comprehensive approach to pharmacologic management of various pain syndromes.
