Get to know Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Juli Fung Hayes, who serves patients in Baldwin Park, California

Dr. Hayes is a board-certified emergency medicine physician practicing at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center in Baldwin Park, California. She is licensed to practice in the state of California. Dr. Hayes is a Lt. Col. in the US Army Reserves. 

Dr. Hayes received her medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine in 1993. After completing two years of general surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York (1993 – 1995), dr. Hayes served her residency training in emergency medicine at Louisiana State University (1996 – 2000). 

Subsequent to his training, Dr. Hayes became board certified in emergency medicine with the American Board of Emergency Medicine. ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards. 

Emergency medicine is the medical speciality concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. Emergency physicians continuously learn to care for unscheduled and undifferentiated patients of all ages.
