As the author of “American Narcan,” the first book dedicated to community naloxone initiatives and heroin-fentanyl mortality, Dr. Morrone continues to advocate for public health measures that save lives.
Dr. Morrone’s influence extends to his grassroots efforts through Overdose Recovery Radio and his initiatives to provide drug treatment services within correctional facilities. His addiction clinics serve 37 counties and 52 zip codes, making vital resources accessible to underserved communities. With triple board certifications in addiction medicine, family practice, and pain management, Dr. Morrone is a leader in the field, actively educating healthcare providers and the public on the complexities of addiction and pain management.
As a volunteer firefighter and a Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Morrone embodies the spirit of public service.
