Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Lockhart graduated with her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 1983. She then performed her internship at Inova Fairfax Hospital in 1984, her residency in psychiatry at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 1986, and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University in 1988.
Seeking to improve each patient’s quality of life, the doctor is dual board-certified in psychiatry & child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
