Native of Nepal, Dr. Malla graduated with his medical degree from Calicut Medical College in Kerala. He completed his internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and his fellowship in pain medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In addition, he received post-graduate training in internal medicine and nephrology at Uniklinikum Muenster in Germany.
Co-authoring articles in scientific journals, he has Competency Certification in Interventional Pain Management with American Board of Interventional Pain Physician (ABIPP). As the certifying body for Interventional Pain Physicians, the ABIPP is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
