Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, PC was founded in 1998 by Drs. James McBride and Catherine Stark. Its reputation for kind, compassionate care grew and as patient demand increased, they were able to bring on additional physicians and midwives. The founding doctors have instilled the core belief that compassionate, sensitive care provided in state of the art facilities reflects unyielding respect for the patient. They have partnered with Troy Beaumont for obstetrical care and surgery, which has enabled them to pioneer innovative therapies such as robotic surgery.
Described as “pure Michigan”, Dr. Pittenger grew up in metro Detroit before attending The University of Michigan, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. In residency, she was recognized for excellence in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
