Get to know Family Physician Dr. Geisha O. Garcia Saez, who serves patients in Miami, Florida.

Recognized as a compassionate family physician, Dr. Saez provides comprehensive care services to adults, adolescents, and children, as well as special care to the geriatric population with visits at home. She is the Founder of Garcia Saez Medical Group in Miami, Florida.

Renowned for her patient-centric approach to medicine, she is always happy to discuss conditions and possible treatments with her patients, helping to put their mind at ease. Conditions treated by her include asthma and bronchitis, anxiety, obesity, diabetes, dermatitis, sinusitis, allergies, anemia, back and joint pain, and sexually transmitted diseases. She also provides a comprehensive range of medical examinations and check-ups, as well as provides vaccination and immunization shots.

After graduating with her medical degree from Havana Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Cuba, Dr. Saez went on to perform her residency in family medicine in Puerto Rico. She then served as a senior general practitioner in South Africa for 8 years, providing medical services in an underserved population.

Caring for people in all age groups at all stages of their life, she has served as a Senior Medical Officer at Utrecht Hospital, KZN Health Services (January 1998 – May 2005), a Case Manager at Hialeah Hospital Utilization Review (2008 – 2011), and as a Utilization Review Manager at Larkin Community Hospital (May 2011 – January 2012).

In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains an active member of the American Medical Association. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
