Get to know Internist Dr. Kristen A. Scullin, who serves patients in St. Louis, Missouri.

Having earned recognition on the Castle Connolly Top Doctors® List, Dr. Scullin is a distinguished internist with University Personal Physicians in St. Louis, Missouri. She is also a valued member of the staff at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she plays a crucial role in patient care.

In her capacity, Dr. Scullin provides comprehensive preventive care, covering vital aspects such as diet, exercise, stress management, cancer screenings, immunizations, and diagnostic testing.

As part of her academic roles, she holds the position of Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Washington University Clinical Associates.

In regards to her educational background, Dr. Scullin completed her Medical Degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in 1988. Continuing her medical journey, she pursued a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in 1991 and 1994, respectively. 

Board certified in internal medicine, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
