Dr. Edwards is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and is also a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society. He is the Director of the Center for Vein Care and Surgery at Horizons Diagnostics, and is the only IAC accredited (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) vein center in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Edwards provides the most advanced vein therapies available with Venaseal*TM and ClosureFast*TM procedures. Both treatments are proven therapies that are minimally invasive and are performed in the office. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Edwards is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He subsequently attended Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Edwards completed his general surgery residency and served as Chief Surgical Resident at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. His leadership and expertise led him to serve as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, and he has been a valued member of the Horizons Diagnostics Board of Directors since 2005.

Dr. Edwards attributes his success to his unwavering focus on patient health and satisfaction, maintaining continuous follow-up with patients to ensure their needs are met. His dedication to education extends beyond his practice; he is also a sought-after speaker and teacher in the field of vascular health.
