Longview Orthopaedic Clinic is one of the oldest and largest surgical practices in East Texas specializing in orthopaedic surgery. Committed to providing the highest quality care available, all of the orthopaedic surgeons have training in general orthopaedics. Some also have additional specialized training in sports medicine, spine surgery, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and robotic-assisted joint replacement. Their goal is to deliver exceptional patient care one cannot find at other orthopaedic practices. From the simplest aches and pains to the most severe cases requiring surgery, the team will treat each patient with compassion, honesty, and unparalleled customer service.
A 2014 graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Porter went on to complete a pain medicine management and rehabilitation assistantship from 2014 until 2015. He then performed a postdoctoral fellowship in anesthesia critical care research with the University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2016, and a residency in family medicine at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in 2019.
A member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
Since January of 2022, Dr. Porter has been serving as the Director of a Regenerative Medicine Clinic. He is also affiliated with Longview Regional Medical Center.
