Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Florina Schiess Kadribasic, who serves patients in Hollywood, Florida.

Dr. Kadribasic is a family practitioner who is currently serving patients at AFC Urgent Care in Hollywood, Florida. Since 1982, American Family Care® (AFC) has pioneered the concept of non-emergency room urgent care. Founded by Dr. Bruce Irwin, AFC now goes beyond broken bones, offering everything from flu shots to physicals. Their mission is to provide the best healthcare possible, in a kind and caring environment, while respecting the rights of all patients in an economical manner, at times and locations convenient to the patient.

Dr. Kadribasic is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is one of the member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), whose mission is to serve the public by improving the quality of health care through setting professional standards for lifelong certification in partnership with its Member Boards.

Dr. Kadribasic received her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2005. She then went on to complete her residency in family medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System.

Dr. Kadribasic holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Medical Association (AMA), as well as the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA).

Dr. Kadribasic has received several awards throughout her line of work, including Patients’ Choice Award (2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018), and On-Time Doctor Award (2016, 2018).

Dr. Kadribasic attributes her success to her love of the medical field and patient care. Through continuous education, she strives to overcome challenges, help patients get better, and make a difference.
