An established obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Croopnick is affiliated with Boston Obstetrics & Gynecology in Brookline, Massachusetts. She can also be found on staff within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Boston Obstetrics & Gynecology is an experienced group of female physicians specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. They provide excellent obstetrics care for high and low-risk pregnancies, as well as preventative and urgent gynecologic care, including contraception, abnormal pap smears, ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, heavy or irregular menses and menopausal issues.

A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Dr. Croopnick obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics from Barnard College/Columbia University in 1991. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1998, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York Medical Center/Westchester Medical Center/Metropolitan Hospital Center in 2002.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Active in academia, she serves as a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology for Harvard Medical School.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
