In 1984, Dr. Daniel earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He then served a five-year residency in general surgery at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, followed by a two-year fellowship at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, finishing in 1991. He then came to Eugene in 1999 after eight years of private practice in his home state of Kentucky.
Dr. Daniel is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The ABPS is a certifying board for plastic surgeons in the United States. It was organized as a subsidiary of the American Board of Surgery in 1938 and given the status of a major specialty board in 1941.
To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Daniel is a member of numerous societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Additionally, he is a past President of the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Daniel is focused on patient education.
