Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Susan L. Sterlacci, who serves patients in Texas.

A trusted obstetrician-gynecologist with over three decades of experience, Dr. Sterlacci can be found on staff at Medical City, Las Colinas

A 1985 graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Sterlacci went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jacobi Medical Center finishing in 1989.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, New York and Virginia, Dr. Sterlacci is currently affiliated with Medical City – Las Colinas, a hospitalist program associated with the Envoy Team of Envision.  As a part of this Envision program, she will be rotated to other hospitalist programs in their system, to help start and establish new programs. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.  After being in private practice for 20 years, she now practices as a hospitalist – hospital based only – assisting private practitioners with their patients as well as assuming the care for patients without a primary Ob Gyn.
