In my professional life, it means seeing my patients through a lens of safety as they have surgery. As a volunteer, it means supporting and participating in medical missions and as a teacher, teaching medical providers who will care for children after our mission trip ends. I’ve been on missions to Africa, Haiti, Latin America, rural Europe and the United States,” adds Dr. Archilla. He is a frequent presenter and expert panelist at national and international meetings.

Dr. Anchilla is an anesthesiologist serving Orlando and the surrounding communities. Dr. Anchilla earned his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1992. After that, he went on to complete and internship in pediatrics at Orlando Regional Healthcare System in 1993, and a residency and fellowship in anesthesiology/critical care and pediatric anesthesiology in 1999.
Dr. Anchilla is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The ABA is the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. The Board administers primary and subspecialty certification exams as well as the Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, which is designed to promote lifelong learning, a commitment to quality clinical outcomes and patient safety. Based in Raleigh, N.C., the ABA is a nonprofit organization and a member of the board of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
