  • For years I’ve had back pain that causes me to have diarrhea. Can this be related to each other? What should I do?

Impinged nerves (from spinal stenosis) not only innervate muscles and skin...they also innervate organ and gland physiology! That is the result of mechanical stenosis! Find a well trained Chiro that will not twist your spine because stenosis is the direct result of a vertebrae that has shifted backwards and this causes narrowing of the openings in your spine that house the spinal nerves...I talk about stenosis on my website www.FIX24WellnessSudio.com READ MORE

  • Post bunion surgery

  • How long is chiropractic treatment for hip pain?

It depends on the severity and the time that it has been that way. Most anatomy books will state it takes 90 - 120 days for ligaments to heal from structural joint misalignments... READ MORE

  • How could I be able to tell at home that my knee cap is broke or fractured?

Depending on how much trauma you sustained, I wouldn't suspect a fracture based upon those pictures...I suggest ice and elevate a few more days. try to avoid locking the leg out as this will prolong the healing. keep the leg slightly flexed. Swelling after a week or so that does not go away...may have to see your Doc. READ MORE

  • Can a chiropractor help with a bulging disc?

Yes.. as long as the joint is not twisted! A bulging disc is the result of a malaligned vertebrae. The disc is mostly fluid and acts like a water balloon. if you step on a water balloon at an angle...the ballon will bulge away from the compression. When a vertebrae shifts backwards, from bending forward or looking down too much, the vertebrae will compress the disc at an angle and cause the bulge. READ MORE

  • What helps with disc hernia?

Correcting the alignment of the vertebrae that articulates with the disc in question! READ MORE

  • Can you help with chronic hip pain?

Many cases of hip pain can be traced back to nerve impingement in the lumbar spine. READ MORE

  • How to heal

That's the classic sign of a hyperextended knee. Roll up a towel and place it behind the knee joint...grab your lower leg and gently flex your foot towards your rear-end cheek on the same side...hold for ten seconds....repeat! This may be painful but it will increase your range of motion! It can also be adjusted by a well trained extremity biomechanic! READ MORE

  • What is the treatment for hernia pain?

Do a google search for "spinal dermatome chart"...It will show where spinal nerves go...look at the level on the chart and there's most likely the cause and remedy. READ MORE

  • Can I go to the GYM with a back injury?

More info about your back injury would be helpful... just avoid FLEXION...bending forward at the waist or looking down ... wear a compression belt if it is a lower back issue. READ MORE

  • Can I workout with a curved spine?

Yes! But understand, a curved spine may be due to a misaligned vertebrae. Without biomechanically maintaining your spine and working out...is just like driving your car without doing maintenance...failure to function will occur. READ MORE
