Get to know Transplant Surgeon Dr. Ananth Srinivasan, who serves patients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A highly trained transplant surgeon, Dr. Srinivasan sees patients within the Liver Transplant Division at the INTEGRIS Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His field of surgical expertise includes transplantation of liver, kidney and pancreas. He also performs complex abdominal operations on liver, pancreas and the biliary tract. This includes surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions.

Born and raised in Chennai, India, he completed his medical education at the Madras Medical College, one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in Asia. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in general surgery at Creighton University. There, he developed an interest in transplantation and complex hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery and went on to specialize in the same at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery and transplant surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Holding membership status, Dr. Srinivasan is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
